Kristen Memoli, a psychologist by training, is a self-taught photographer working and residing in Huntington, New York. "Contradictions catch my eye and draw me in. Dark versus light, life versus decay, joy versus heartbreak...I find these concepts irresistible. This fascination likely has roots in my professional life as a psychologist where I constantly strive to help people create balance. I'm also a hopeless collector and photography is a wonderful way to “hold onto” things. My art is a combination of these components." -Kristen Memoli
